The main stage features Cambridge summer music festival, English Pocket Opera Company, and Rock Choir Cambridge. Other areas include the John Lewis sports zone with various activities, The Fun Lab (in partnership with Cambridge University Science Festivals) with various activities, the Big Dance Marquee, a Big Screen, Pop-up Gallery, Village Green and French market.
7.30pm - 9.30pm Arrival of the Olympic torch at Parkers Piece. Main stage performances from Young Guns, Chris & Wes (Got to Dance), Twist & Pulse, Dance Offensive & Striking Together for Gold percussion group, followed by a public art performance “A Field of Dreams”.

Early morning - the Olympic Flame makes a private appearance in Great Court, Trinity College. This is not open to the public but will be televised live on BBC television.
6.50am The Flame leaves Trinity by punt along the River Cam. Trinity and St John's Colleges paddocks will be open to members of the public to see the flame while it is on the river – please note that capacity is limited (for further details, see the University's news story
here.)
7.45am The Torch leaves Cambridge via Huntingdon Road
12.00pm - 8.00pm Cambridge Mela & World Music on Parkers Piece (free)
The University will post updates about the latest viewing positions and Torch movements over the weekend via the Twitter hashtag #london2012torchrelay.
