Julia Bleasdale ran a personal best in the Women's 10,000m: 30:55.63, the third fastest time ever posted by a British woman. We are, of course, delighted to report that Team Cambridge's medal count has leapt to 3 - two bronzes and a gold.

Although Emma was ranked 40th in the road race she was instrumental in supporting Team GB's Silver medallist Lizzie Armitstead and her time was less than two seconds behind that of the race's Gold medal winner.
