We are constantly under pressure to hire the right people, create a cohesive team, and perform at a high level...to do more with less. However, success hinges on each team member's ability to be bold and expand their comfort zone.

All Cambridge alumni are invited to join the Cambridge Armed Forces Alumni Network on Friday, March 22 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm ET. This discussion will be featuring United Air Force Thunderbird pilot, combat veteran, and fighter pilot turned author and motivational speaker, Michelle "MACE" Curran. MACE will begin the webinar with a brief 30 minute lecture which will be a Q&A with the audience.

If you have questions regarding the event, or if you are interested in joining the Cambridge Armed Forces Alumni Network (open to any country's armed forces), please reach out to Zachary Stiffler at cjbs.alumni.armedforces.sig@gmail.com

Sometimes, seeing this struggle from a new perspective is just what an audience needs. Recognizing that even those who may seem unflappable have overcome the same doubts and the same obstacles suddenly makes success seem within reach. In her keynote, Michelle (also addressed by her callsign - MACE), takes her audience on a surprising and compelling journey through her career as a Fighter Pilot, culminating in her role as the Lead Solo Pilot for the Air Force Thunderbirds.

Most will struggle with self-doubt and imposter syndrome at some point. MACE battled these obstacles while attempting to find her identity in a high-performance, type-A culture. Her evolution from struggling with the fear of failure to flying inverted only inches from another aircraft at 500 mph will inspire audeinces to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Drawing on her experience from a decade in high-performance aviation, and her own tranformation, MACE teaches audiences what they are capable of when they let go of fear, embrace vulnerability, and make bold choices.

The goal of this webinar is for attendees to:

  • Reassess their comfort zone
  • Learn to use vulnerability as a superpower to accelerate towards goals
  • Realize the normalcy of imposter syndrome and identify how to combat it
  • Recognize how to step into their boldness and let go of their fears
